Further Information on Memberships
Becoming a member of Forces Barbarians RFC (becoming a FuBar) is open to anyone who wants to be a part of this club’s journey.
- Full Member – HM Forces (serving or retired, or reserves) who wish to become a FuBar. Full members receive a club tie and members pack upon sign up and invitations to attend / play / support at fixtures and events.
- Social Member – civilians who wish to join the club. Social members will receive invites to all fixtures and invites to exclusive events. Social members will also receive a supporters pack upon sign up.
We are not a replacement for your existing unit or home club – we are complementary to it. If you join as a playing member you are under no pressure to turn out for our fixtures, but you will always get an invite so please join us if and when you can make it to a match.
ELIGIBILITY
HM Forces (serving or retired) are eligible for Full Membership, either as a playing or a non-playing member.
Non HM Forces personnel are eligible for Social Membership with the club.
AFTER YOU APPLY
Upon successful membership application, all members will receive FuBars stash. Social Members will receive a supporters pack and Full Members will receive a merch pack plus a club tie.
WHEN YOU PLAY
If you apply as a playing member, every time you turn out for a match and get capped for the FuBars, you will receive additional items to recognise your contribution to the fixture and the club.
